Da Beralia: intervista a Dezaki

Beralia ci segnala, da You Tube http://www.youtube.com:80/watch?v=ZX44UTGCuDs , questa intervista ad Osamu Dezaki, andata in onda su BS2 Channel nel 2005 in occasione di una maratona di quattro nottate dedicata a Rocky Joe.
Ci fornisce anche, grazie ad una sua amica giapponese (che ringraziamo anche noi), una traduzione relativa alla parte su Oscar.
Come potete verificare, si tratta di dichiarazioni in parte analoghe a quelle che abbiamo riscontrato nell’intervista acclusa alla edizione collector dei dvd francesi e su cui Alessandra ed io abbiamo scritto un essay nel novembre-dicembre 2006 “Banzai o non banzai? Mi piace molto questo ribattere di Dezaki sull'umanità dei personaggi.

He would like to describe thoses charming characters through our heroes.
His favorite character is Jeanne. What she did is bad, but she fought agaisnt nobles, powers, social classes at the risk of her life. He finds it " cool " while Oscar is also cool at the different meaning”.
